First of all, what is the sexual rights?

Well, sexual rights is the concept of human rights applied to sexuality. It is a combination of two main fields: sexual health and sexual rights.

The Declaration of Sexual Rights is a statement on sexual rights that was first proclaimed at the 13th World Congress of Sexology.

 

1st right

The right to equality and non-discrimination.

 

2nd right

The right to life, liberty, and security of the person.

 

3rd right

The right to autonomy and bodily integrity.

 

4th right

The right to be free from torture and cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment or punishment.

 

5th right

The right to be free from all forms of violence and coercion.

 

6th right

The right to privacy.

 

7th right

The right to the highest attainable standard of health, including sexual health; with the possibility of pleasurable, satisfying, and safe sexual experiences.

 

8th right

The right to enjoy the benefits of scientific progress and its application.

 

9th right

The right to information.

 

10th right

The right to education and enlightening sex education.

 

11th right

The right to found a family, formalize and dissolve marriage or other similar relationships based on equality, with free and absolute consent.

 

12th right

The right to decide on having children, the number of children and the length of time between them, and to have information and means to do so.

 

13th right

The right to freedom of thought, opinion and expression.

 

14th right

The right to freedom of association and peaceful assembly.

 

15th right

The right to participation in public and political life.

 

16th right

The right of access to justice, reparation and compensation.
