Emotions are a characteristic of our personality, they exist regardless of whether we express them, ignore them, or hide them. Most of the time they are obvious to others. Emotions that are suppressed and are not expressed, will manifest, later with a more intense, difficult, or traumatic way. It is useful to express them with healthy ways like talking to someone we trust, doing physical activity, doing something we like, etc.
Anger is an intense, unpleasant, emotion. It will be good to be expressed with talk and discussion. When it is intense it usually has a negative effect. Give yourself a chance to calm down and talk to the other about the reason that made you angry.
